"We were meant to live for so much more...
We want more than this world's got to offer...
Everything inside screams for second life."
Switchfoot were right on. And they're not the only ones to express this desire. In fact, everyone is beginning to notice it: when you get to the top, there's nothing there. Yet everything inside still screams for satisfaction...
It's got nothing to do with a Western mindset/mentality, either. The whole of King Solomon's book Ecclesiastes deals with this problem. And, indeed, he suggests that the answer does not lie within ourselves, but it comes from above. But shouldn't this be obvious to people by now?
